Spring Landscape class.

My spring class starts soon, so you all had better get to registering. It really is the cool thing to do, well, that and smoke. But smoking is bad for you, so you probably should just learn to paint instead.

Baker-Hunt Art Center Show River Show

I will have 8 paintings in a show about our cities river at the Baker-Hunt Center next week. Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center

The opening will be on March 22 and start at 6:oo. Above is one of the paintings showing the changing river view, which is quickly being leveled and developed. The show will have a few other artists as well, including water colorist Bruce Neville and painter Shalmah Prince.

Here is a view from the Eden Park overlook of the Big Mac Bridge. I fond it very difficult to make a pleasing picture of a big yellow bridge, but I feel I did a pretty successful job.
This show is opening the same night as a CD release party and concert for Carolann Ames & Silver Lake which will be preforming in another part of the complex. (tickets $15 at the door- the art show is free)

ASSOCIATE SHOW at Cincinnati Art Club

I stuck a few pictures in the Art Club Show opening this week. One is the Mr. Clean painting that I have shown before, the other is a farm scene painted last fall. Hope you can stop in.
